Every year, around April 1, a global event takes place – the International Edible Book Festival. Locally, this event was held at the Western New York Book Arts Center (WNYBAC). It was the 6th year that WNYBAC held the event but my first time attending.
To say the event was amazing was an understatement! The event was cute and clever; I was pleasantly surprised by all of the creative cakes (i.e. ingestible culture!) as well as the entire WNYBAC facility. It was pure magic for this bibliophile and her friend Beth!
Below are some photos from the event. We had so much fun that we are planning on submitting a book cake next year! So cool!!
I look forward to other upcoming WNY book-centric events. Especially this Saturday’s Buffalo Small Press Book Fair!
